Semester Final!
Here's my Christmas design thingy for the final. I created the stocking from a tutorial that i found but i made the polygon design on my own because the triangle pattern that the tutorial had for the stocking I didn't really care for. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!:)

Seamless Pattern
So...here's my seamless pattern. I honestly thought I was going to DROP KICK the computer because I was getting so mad at Illustrator because it refused to reflect my extra little pattern that I made. I finally just decided to keep it on the sides that it would reflect on and I guess it turned out OK. I had a really hard time with that stupid reflection tool...and I honestly hope I never have to use it again. (Although I know I will).

Career and Technology Education/CATE Logo
Here are the three CATE logo's that I made in Illustrator. I particularly like the one at the very top because the arrow has somewhat of a gradient showing that we don't know the future so it's kind of fuzzy. Well, I hope you like them!:)

Fast Track Designs Logo!
Here's my Logo In color. I actually created this at home because I wanted to try some of the vector packs and then I realized that the splatter paint design might look really cool as kind of a background towards my logo. Hope you like it!
So here is the same logo just in gray scale. So the 2 boxes are different shades of gray because if you look at the original logo you will see that the "F" square is a bright pink so it has to be more of a deep gray. Hope you like it! Comment! Enjoy!:)

So, here's my Expression's Project. I chose really bold typography for some things because I tend to be bold like when I laugh. I have a bold laugh so I made it bold. For everything else I chose either really skinny typography, really tall and skinny typography, or more handwritten looking typography. The white part of the gradient represented how I'm still in the middle in my life and I have a lot left to go AKA why its semi in the middle. The semi transparent stars in the background are there because I tend to draw stars on everything, I like stars, and I want to be a star (not a legit star a star as in Leah Michelle or something). I also drop shadowed most of the things that I wanted to accentuate like "laugher, talented, BIG Dreamer, etc." I chose the color purple one because it's one of my favorite colors two because I tried to do a deep navy blue which was what I originally wanted to do and it didn't really look good so I tried to find a color that was in my realm of favorite colors and make it match with sorta match with my shirt and I came out with purple. Sorry, This was long but I had a lot of stupid explanations. haha! Hope you like it! Comment! ENJOY!:)))

3D Graph
Here is my 3D graph. This tutorial was fairly easy mainly because the only new thing I worked with was the graphing tool which was fairly easy to figure out. The main problem I had was the shadows in between the blocks. I hope you like it!:)

Flower & 3D Vase

Snowboard Vector
So this is what happened when you gave me a tutorial with pens. It didn't really come out the exact way I wanted it but I got really fed up with it and I knew I had to turn it in soon so I just went with what I had. I guess it's alright but I know I could have done a lot better but the pen tool is not my best friend...oh well, maybe next time. Hope you like it!!!:)

Recreating Your Own Logo...BMW Logo
So the image right above this text is my recreation of the BMW logo and the picture at the top is a picture of the ACTUAL BMW logo. This logo was fairly easy once Mrs. Klein taught me to double click the gradient button and that, that would be used for all of my gradient needs. The BMW logo was mainly focused I think on circles, gradients, light, outlines, a little bit of drop shadow, and that's about it. Like I said once I figured out the gradient it was fairly easy except for the fact that mimicking where they put the gray/black gradient (behind the checkered dill dads) was as easy as I thought it was going to be. It took some patience but thankfully I finally got through with it. I hope you like it! Please comment!!!:))

Adjusted Quote
So this is my adjusted quote. Looking back at my other quote that you can also see on my blog, the colors didn't really fit well too me. When I think of the word life or just life in general I generally think of the color blue, or red. I chose the color red because life can be hectic and you shouldn't look in the past or in "the windshield." I also didn't like the color choice I had chosen for the word "windshield" it just didn't seem appropriate. When I think of a windshield i think of the color silver or gray; henceforth why i chose to do the color gray for the word "windshield." I also really didn't like the alignment on the first quote, it was really messy. So I decided that I should make my adjusted quote more clean and neat so I decided to go with a left alignment. I hope you like it!:)
Spiral Post
Okay, so this is my spiral design. I really wanted to do a small quote and repeat it and I kept thinking about something about one of my friends had said lately "love is blind." I thought it to be very true and when we were doing a spiral activity I thought it corresponded well. I also had the idea to make the word "blind" lighter because obviously when your blind you can't see anything, or you can't see things well if your partially blind. I really hoped you liked my Spiral Quote!

My Personal Quote
This is my personal quote. I really loved this quote because I thought it well represented how most people looked in the past instead of the present; myself included. I colored the words "life" and "windshield" because I thought they were some of the most important words out of the whole quote. I really hope you like it!:) thanks!

Design Elements
The Image shown is an outline. An outline is a line made by the edge of an object of it's silhouette. The image shown is obviously just an outline but shows what the object is. With just the outline of the object you are able to name the object shown, observe it, and see it in a simple form.
The image shown above is a contoured lined image. A contour line is a line that describes the shape of an object and the interior detail. If This picture was just a sketch of an old man there wouldn't be much detail. You wouldn't really know how he was feeling, where his wrinkle lines were, were the bags under his eyes were. There would barely be any detail. Contour lines give you the detail to the image. The contour lines describe the shape; how he's feeling, what he's doing, where his sag lines are, etc.
The image shown above is a picture of gesture lines. Gesture lines are lines that are energetic and catches the movement and gestures of an active figure. Gesture lines are usually in ads when they are trying to get your attention, or for a sale, or in a comic strip.
The image shown above is a picture of Sketch lines. Sketch lines are lines that capture the appearance of an object or impression of a place. This sketch is a sketch of a roughed up stuffed animal. With sketch lines it shows just the basics of the image it's the beginning of the image or picture. With a sketch it shows very little detail and maybe even none at all.
The image shown above is a picture of calligraphic lines. Calligraphic lines are a Greek word meaning "beautiful writing." Calligraphic lines also mean, precise, elegant handwriting or lettering done by hand.
The image shown above is a picture of an implied line. A implied line is a line that is not actually drawn but created by a group of objects seen from a distance. The direction an object is pointing to, or the direction a person is looking at. In this image the vines are showing a certain direction also the direction of the dirt, the logs, and the cement surrounding the garden on the pathway are all showing implied lines.
The image shown above is showing geometric shapes. Geometric shapes can include circles, squares, rectangles, and triangles. We can see geometric shapes in architecture and manufactured items. The image shown above is showing a way to use geometric shapes in architecture. The image has 2 geometric shapes, the triangle and the rectangle.
The image shown above is showing organic shapes. Organic shapes can include, but are not limited too, seashells, leafs, and flowers. We could see organic shapes in nature and with characteristics that are free flowing, informal and irregular.
The image shown above is showing positive shapes. Positive shapes in a drawing are the solid forms in a design such as a bowl of fruit. In a sculpture it is the solid form of the sculpture. In the image the positive shape would be the bowl and the fruit in the bowl.

Hi, I'm Brittany. My Father died when I was 4 from a long fight of lung cancer. I really don't like to talk about it with people I don't know, so I would really appreciate it if know body really asked any questions.
About the same time that my father passed, I found a passion for music. Music is everything to me. You will probably see me with a lot of old choir t-shirts on or choir camp t-shirts or region t-shirts just because they have good memories behind them, and also show that I have a passion for something and I'm not just this boring person that everybody thinks I really am. You really have to get to know me for me to open up to you. I really don't like sharing my feelings with people I don't know very well mainly because I know that they don't care. And also, because by sharing my feelings it has hurt my relationships with people i know. I also had open heart surgery when I was 18 months old. Of course, I don't remember any of it because I was so little, but they told me that I had a hole in my heart and they had to go in and patch it up with some tissue and muscle. I have a huge passion for helping people. Last year I was in Yearbook but we spent a lot of time with the Life Skills class which is a class for the mentally disabled. The fact that I could put a smile on their face just by walking in the door or sitting next to them was awesome. Those moments definitely changed my life. That's really all I have to say. I hope you learned something:)
